In Dragonstone, Davos Seaworth is recovering from his wounds and is visited by Melisandre, who reveals that she plans to sacrifice Gendry, King Robert Baratheon's illegitimate son, to the Lord of Light. Davos tries to stop her but is unsuccessful and Gendry is taken away.
In the episode's most significant development, Jon Snow and Ygritte end up having a romantic relationship, despite her being a wildling and him being a Night's Watchman.
